As I continue to develop a love and eye for design, I love to collaborate as often as I can on projects for other people and experiment on my own.

The client had one request for this sticker which was that it would have the phrase “We are one” in Arabic somewhere. Using that as my anchor, I came up with the concept of creating a playing card-like design.

The client asked for a podcast cover for their new show. Playing with the meaning of “shades,” I distorted the text and the gradient background to create something bold and interesting

The client asked for a flyer for an event featuring sheet cake and live music. Taking inspiration from 50’s advertising, I created this surreal collage of people swimming in cake to evoke the Cake and Lake association.

My first introduction to the world of design and composition was through collage––a low barrier of entry medium that took my anxieties about not being able to draw anything to save my life away. It gave me an outlet to be artistic in a way I assumed I couldn’t and to this day, a lot of my style is inspired by the fragmentary and abstract-feel of most collages
